As a skilled volunteer at local educational institutions for 17 years, Binder led efforts, planned and orchestrated myriad fundraising events for area schools, where goals of $20K per year were met or exceeded. Among her many accomplishments include creating, designing and securing funding for an outdoor education classroom; conceiving, coordinating and facilitating an after-school enrichment program for students in the second through fifth grades; and serving on the school district’s technology committee to develop short-and-long-term technology plans.
